The Internet offers a rich collection of data sources. In the hands of a creative teacher (or student) these numbers can be crafted into meaningful, real life mathematics problems.

• Credit Cards Nationwide -- U.S. & Regional Composite Rates of Leading Banks
• Baseball Statistics from USA Today
• CIA World Fact Book -- facts and figures about virtually every county in the world
• DASL, The Data and Story Library -- DASL (pronounced "dazzle") is an online library of data files and stories that illustrate the use of basic statistics methods.
• ESPN's top-notch sports site -- This is a great site for getting the data one needs for tracking the stats on your favorite football team, baseball team or whatever. It compliments some of the SCORE lesson plans which call for tracking and recording data.
• Major League Baseball - profiles of all major league players form ESPN
• Population Topics -- U.S. Census Bureau-The Official Statistics
• Silicon Investor -- Provides current stock quotes, financial data, and charts that let you compare the performances of different stocks. Very useful for SCORE projects needing this data.
