information on textbooks, reference materials, software, TI calculator programs,
and the College Board. The site also features discussions on apstat-l and
a selection of online tests.

Plot -- A concise explanation of a box-and-whisker plot.
- Calculus
& Mathematics Distance Education Program -- The University
of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign Distance Education Program is the part of
the Calculus & Mathematics project that teaches students who are
not located on the University of Illinois campus. DEP brings students and
university professors together to form a human electronic community devoted
to learning mathematics. What was previously taught only to select high school
students through C&M; DEP, now is available to students across the country
without them ever needing to set foot in a university classroom. These students
use professional tools (computers running Mathematics ) to learn calculus,
and may further incorporate them into part of their overall education.
- College Preparatory Mathematics:
-- CPM is a complete math program for high school students who want to learn
the basics and more. Under the careful guidance of their teachers, students
explore the major concepts of high school mathematics in a variety of ways
designed to provide them with several means to solve problems.

of science in the history of humankind. Its beauty lies in its logical development
