  • AP Statistics on the Web -- Comprehensive statistics resources include information on textbooks, reference materials, software, TI calculator programs, and the College Board. The site also features discussions on apstat-l and a selection of online tests.
  • Box-and-Whisker Plot -- A concise explanation of a box-and-whisker plot.
  • Calculus & Mathematics Distance Education Program -- The University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign Distance Education Program is the part of the Calculus & Mathematics project that teaches students who are not located on the University of Illinois campus. DEP brings students and university professors together to form a human electronic community devoted to learning mathematics. What was previously taught only to select high school students through C&M; DEP, now is available to students across the country without them ever needing to set foot in a university classroom. These students use professional tools (computers running Mathematics ) to learn calculus, and may further incorporate them into part of their overall education.
  • College Preparatory Mathematics: -- CPM is a complete math program for high school students who want to learn the basics and more. Under the careful guidance of their teachers, students explore the major concepts of high school mathematics in a variety of ways designed to provide them with several means to solve problems.
  • Euclid's Elements -- form one of the most beautiful and influential works of science in the history of humankind. Its beauty lies in its logical development of geometry and other branches of mathematics. This site uses Java Applets to illustrate the concepts
  • Famous Curves -- Click on the name of a curve to see its history and some of its associated curves.
  • Global Grocery List -- generates a living, growing table of peer collected information to be used by classes of all levels and subject areas. Lists have been used to enhance math, science, social studies, health, and writing instruction. They can be used to practice calculations, as an information basis to draw conclusions, and as a springboard for writing assignments.

  • Mathematics, -- a collaborative project, using the concept of as the focus, is a home page on the WWW. This multidisciplinary project which includes math, history, English and thinking skills is designed for fifth through eighth graders. It will allow students to discover the approximate value of , an irrational number, using measurement and reporting the data, applying formulas, problem solving and participating in a collaborative project utilizing Internet resources. Students will also explore the history of , using Internet references.
